A great number of them use machine elements covered by thermal spraying. The international meetings of Industry and Academia are the special occasion to make an overview of the processes and techniques related to scientific and technological aspects of thermally sprayed coatings.
They make it possible to present the regional activity in the field of thermal spraying on the panorama of national and international works in this area.
The 2009 edition associates the RIPT and S2TS conferences at the same place in order to enlarge the field of the meeting by considering new developments in thermal spraying and especially based on suspensions and solutions as the feedstock.
Then the objectives are multiple and these days must be the place of exchanges of information, results of research, innovations and contacts through the thermal spraying committee.
